We are working to ensure all Montanans are counted in the 2020 Census before the September 30th deadline. As of early August, Montana ranked 47th in the nation for Census response rates, with a statewide response rate of around 57%.

An accurate Census count affects all Montanans. For each person who is not counted in the 2020 Census, Montana could miss out on $20,000 of federal funding over the next ten years for crucial public services like education, school lunch & breakfast programs, and special education grants. Montana also stands to regain an additional Representative in Congress, which is dependent on an accurate count.

We need local leaders in Cascade County to get the word out about the 2020 Census.
