Program Description

The extended curriculum program provides opportunities that extend the regular core curriculum and allow students with advanced abilities to learn at a pace, depth and breadth that is appropriate for them. The ECS program has four goals to meet the unique needs of its students.

1. To provide flexible pacing and programming options through differentiated instruction, direct services and individual education plans
2. To provide social/emotional support
3. To collaborate with teachers and offer services and materials to assist them with differentiated classroom lessons
4. To utilize parent and community resources to expand the opportunity for authentic learning and applications
