2016 HANDS Summer Program

We are looking for guest speakers for our summer program again this year. The kids and HANDS staff really enjoyed those of you that came out last year and shared your knowledge and talents with us. Thank you again to those that gave their time to the kids last summer. The HANDS summer committee would love to have you back this year or come for the first time.

The 2016 summer program theme is going to be the “Magic Tree House Adventures”.
Dates: June 13th – August 19th.
Locations: Lewis & Clark and Valley View
Times: 6:45 am – 6:00 pm

We try to fill the summer with a lot of different activities, such as field trips to the local parks, visiting a few local businesses, swimming, bowling, mini-golf, crafts and a lot of outdoor fun at the centers. If you are willing and available to be a guest speaker, please let me know so we can talk about dates and topics. Your imagination is the only limit!

A few topics the guest did last year: Gardening, Story Telling, Yoga & Zumba, Print Making, Welding & Metals, Science Experiments, etc.

If you are unable to do this yourself, maybe you know someone that we could contact. Thank you so much for your time and considering coming out this summer.
