Clarification of Internet Access: ISP Service Only on 470 form.
Within the RFP, GFPS has specified that vendors are asked to submit proposals for any or all services for the contract term. This gives the vendor the flexibility of only bidding on one of the services (i.e. ISP) vs the whole package. The circuits/fibers for both the WAN and Internet to the POP are accounted for under the Leased Lit and Dark Fiber Category 1 Services on the 470.
What does ‘ISP shall provide proof of two redundant upstream pathways.’ in the RFP for Internet Service mean?
We want to ensure the ISP chosen has redundant paths upstream from their location to the internet so our service would not be impacted if their upstream path is disrupted.
