Marilyn Hall, Volunteer at Sacajawea
Elementary School, nominated by The Sacajawea PRIDE
Committee at Sacajawea Elementary School.
Marilyn has given
countless hours as a volunteer running Sacajawea’s PRIDE store sponsored by
Sacajawea’s PRIDE committee and the teachers of Sacajawea Elementary. The token store rewards student behavior with
spendable tokens. Our store would not
have been a success without Mrs. Hall’s dedication. She could be counted on the last Friday of
every month to open, organize, clean up, and supervise the student workers in
our PRIDE store. We at Sacajawea
Elementary are very appreciative of the time Marilyn Hall has donated each
month. Without volunteers like Marilyn
Hall, school wide projects like this one, would not be possible and without her
expertise the store would not have been successful.
Beth Wiles, Science Teacher at Great
Falls High School and Jessica Patrick, Science Teacher at C M Russell High
School, nominated by Elaine Blythe, Science Teacher at Paris Gibson Education
Center.
Beth and Jessica
are both creative and dedicated teachers.
Both of them came to the work sessions with open minds and a willingness
to work as a team. They did the teaming
very well, playing off each other and bouncing ideas between each other (and to
me) as they produced the FOS tests.
Tara Rosipal,
Student Advocate at East Middle School,
nominated by Pat Volkmar, Industrial Technology Teacher at North Middle School.
It was a very
smooth transition from the school year into summer school which was easier for
the kids to adapt too. She worked to
make it a fun experience for the kids and not just a school environment. I think most of the kids enjoyed it and it is
all thanks to Tara, without her it wouldn’t have worked half as well as it did.
.
Katie Kotynski, Program Assistant in
Information Services at The District Offices,
nominated by Pat Volkmar, Industrial Technology Teacher at North Middle School.
All of the members
of the Grizzly business would like to sincerely thank Katie Kotynski for all
the work she does and all she has taught us about the computers.
She has come in and
taught us about how to make websites, edit them and get us onto the web, making
it a very smooth transition. It would
have been very hard for us to do it without her and now that we know it is much easier for all of us since she taught us we are able to
teach the other classes. Since she
helped us we saved a lot of time because now we don’t have to look it up
ourselves and can just get fight to working on it and now we can take orders
from all over the country. She also
helped by answering every question we had and still answers them to this day.
Alex Ferguson, Volunteer at North Middle School, nominated by Pat
Volkmar, Industrial Technology Teacher at North Middle School. .
Alex provides his
trailer for us to haul things in and to cook the food (we call it the mobile
classroom). He also usually brings his
4-wheeler and drives around and helps during the clean-up at every Fishing Club
trip which highly assists us quickens the process. He also brings supplies to help kids make
lures and flies or any tackle needed.
Alex always comes
to Walleye Camp and provides his boat for the photographer and also always
teaches the kids how to tie flies. All
of the kids really enjoy tying flies and for some it is one of their favorite
activities at camp.
Alex is a very
vital component to all of the fishing club trips and helps with every part and
has always been there even if things were planned at the last minute.
