STAFF VACANCY: Teacher Aide

QUALIFICATIONS: Must enjoy working with students;

Take and follow directions easily;

Silver National Career Readiness certification

preferred.

Two years of college coursework or passing

competency test within first month of

employment.

DUTIES: Monitor lunchroom and playground;

Other duties as assigned.

EMPLOYMENT: Whittier Elementary

5 hrs/day; 5 days/wk – teacher aide

+ 1.5 hrs/day; 5 days/wk – overload aide

Overload aide time is until semester, but could possibly be extended.

SALARY: $7.65 per hour

CLOSING DATE: Friday, January 6, 2012

A cover letter, teacher aide insert and current district classified application (within the past 12 months) must be received in the Human Resources Office by the closing date.

Master Teacher ParaEducator certification or Silver National Career Readiness certification preferred.
