Ed Varner has been an educator, a musician, a freelance percussionist, actor, and arts education specialist and advocate for more than 20 years.  He has taught award winning K-12 music programs in California, Nevada, and Washington.  He has presented workshops for the International Reading Association, National Association for Elementary School Principals, Hawaii International Conference on Education, Washington State Office of the Superintendant of Public Instruction, and led many district in-services. 

Ed is currently pursuing a doctoral degree in Educational Leadership and Administration.  He holds a BA in Music from California State University at Los Angeles and a Master's in Educational Leadership and Administration from the University of British Columbia, Vancouver, BC.
