Veronica Griffith

I was born and raised in Butte. Following graduation, I took advantage of a scholarship and attended college in Missouri.  I returned to Butte for a limited time and was employed at a bank in the New Accounts and Bookkeeping Departments. Subsequently, the next five (5) years were spent in Chicago where I held the positions of Department Coordinator and then Department Manager for a large advertising agency. After my elopement, I moved to Texas.
I continued my career as an Account Executive for a Printing, Advertising and Fund-Raising Company until we moved to Alaska and I added, ‘Mom’ to my resume. I was fortunate to be able to stay at home with my children and be an active Air Force wife for several years. During that time, I volunteered within every community that we lived for numerous organizations and in several capacities.  I began substitute teaching when my youngest child started school. After returning to Montana and settling into a new life in Great Falls, I resumed substituting for a short time. I signed on as an Office Manager for a small business for a few years and then returned to the Great Fall Public Schools as the “Nitecap” Secretary. I became the Administrative Assistant for the Adult Education Program when the department moved to Montana State University Great Falls College of Technology.
I have been married to Bob Griffith, Math Instructor at GFH and Park University, for twenty seven (27) years. We have four (4) children that graduated from CMR: London (24) Stage Manager in New York City, NY, Zachariah (22) Student and Baseball Player at Dickinson State, ND, Jacob (21) Student at the University of Montana, Missoula, MT, Abraham (19) Student and Baseball Player at Miles Community College, Miles City, MT.
I am proud to be a part of the growing partnership between the GFPS and MSU-GF. I tell people that I have a “feel-good” job! I love the people I work with, the place I work, and more importantly I love the work we do. I truly believe we make a difference in people’s lives. =)
If you have any questions about the Adult Education Program, please contact me or stop by the ABLE Center and I would be happy to discuss it with you!
