They will need their first name, last name and birth date to do so.
Please note that many people think that they will be called to jury duty if they register to vote. Jury pools are no longer selected by using voter lists. If you would like to request voter registration cards for some of your staff, contact kim_fadrhonc@gfps.k12.mt.us and she will send some to you through the school mail. The deadline to register for the school election is Friday, April 5.
In-District Transfer Information Current openings close tomorrow, TUESDAY, MARCH 16, at 5:00 p.m. Check the website or hotline for a listing.Be sure to hand-deliver your form to meet the deadline. There will be several openings available for in-district transfer posted on FRIDAY, MARCH 19 on the District website (www.gfps.k12.mt.us, Employment Button), on the hotline (268-6019, option #3) and on the bulletin board at the DOB. If interested, please check one of these places for more information. All In-District Transfer Forms for these openings will be due on TUESDAY, MARCH 23 AT 5:00 P.M.
University Women Diane Moog, Principal of the Montana School for the Deaf and Blind, will be the featured speaker at the April 5th meeting of Great Falls American Association of University Women. The meeting will be held at the Providence Forum at the University of Great Falls McLaughlin Fieldhouse at 7:00 pm. SEVERANCE PAY FOR TEACHERS RESIGNING AT THE END OF THE SCHOOL YEAR Teachers with a minimum of 2-9 years A teacher who has completed 2 to 9 years of service in the District, as a licensed teacher, including approved leaves of absence, and who resigns from District employment shall receive a payment of $50 for each unused and accumulated sick leave day. To be eligible for this payment, the teacher shall submit a letter of resignation to the Board no later than April 1st if terminating employment at the end of the second semester. Thrift Store update...the Thrift Store will not be in business next year. I will not be accepting any more donations at the end of this month. Starting Monday, March 15th, everything will be 1/2 price all the time. As we get closer to mid May, any left-over inventory will be free. Our last week of business will be the end of May.
