General notes

· Set up regions for DVD players—make sure DVD players work and there is software to burn DVDs.

· Teachers are worried that their email folders/messages will not be transferred.

· Teachers want their Favorites transferred.

· Install Quickmail/Thunderbird on teachers’ machines

· How about a shortcut to the local school's OPAC on the desktop?

· A shortcut to the site for MAP testing on elementary/ms computers

· Install at least two or more printers on every computer.

· Some teachers will need Powergrade installed. They may also need their gradebook moved from the C/Programs/Powergrade folder.

· CAD lab and journalism worries: make sure everything they need is loaded. Please check with Yaeger to make sure his software runs on Vista and that his mice will work with the new machines—may need adapters. Check with Linda Ballew on the special fonts and yearbook software that she needs. She also has some copies of different versions of CS3, one for video editing and there may be others.

· HS only (Adobe CS3 Design Premium). Please open Acrobat and all other programs and register them.

· HS only--Contribute—load on all Teacher Machines? We have a site license.
